First Filling Station in the Scottish Borders
The first Filling Station meeting in the Scottish Borders will open it’s doors on Thursday the 4th of June in Melrose, Roxburghshire. A group of Christian from a variety of local Churches; Baptist, Church of Scotland, free Evangelical and Episcopalian, have joined forces to host this monthly celebration meeting. Mrs Antoinette Galbraith, Administrator of the new meeting, which is to be called the, ‘Central Borders Filling Station’, said this about the event: ‘We are thrilled that we can start a Filling Station! It is something we have been hearing and thinking about for some time and with the support of the Filling Station Trust, are now able to offer in our neck of the woods. We know it is going to be popular!’
The new meeting will be held in the The Townhouse, Market Square, Melrose, Roxburghshire, TD6 9PQ, ever 1st Monday of the month, although the initial meeting will be held on a Thursday (the 4th of June).
Speaker for the opening night in June will be Richard Fothergill, founder of the Filling Station who will be speaking about; ‘A God who is with us!’
