What is the God Movie Project?

Our speaker at the June Filling Station meeting is Edward Carter, Canon Theologian at Chelmsford Cathedral in Essex. In 2013, Edward pioneered the God Movie Project, which aims to make connections between the Christian faith and the ‘ordinary’ things of life using the medium of film. The project uses people’s hobbies, interests and life stories to make a short movie which includes footage of group members taking part in and talking about their passions, and reflecting on how ‘life’ can show us things about God. It allows everyone who joins in to celebrate and share how God is part of everyday life. For more information, visit www.godmovieproject.com.  Edward’s talk is entitled: ‘Heaven in Ordinary – John Chapter 17 and the God Movie Project’ so do come along and find out more.
