Springing into Summer
Apologies for the lack of recent posts. The Filling Station ‘postman’ has been snowed under lately, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t being having some amazing input at our monthly meetings. In March our regional director Hellie Brunt wowed us with what God has been doing in her life and ministry in recent months; in April Mike Endicott from the Order of Jacob’s Well took us on a healing journey into the Kingdom of God; and in May Rhys Roberts from Encounter House, Aberbargoed encouraged us to ‘position ourselves’ to catch the flow of the Holy Spirit, just as surfers get in the right position and choose the right moment to ride the wave that will send them surfing the waves onto the beach. We’ve seen a number of healings recently, in particular two ladies last month who saw significant healing with their eyesight. We’re looking forward to Jon Stockley of Christian Vision for Men joining us at our June meeting, and we continue to hear so many people say how good it is for people to meet up with other Christians from all denominations and none, making new friends and catching up with others they haven’t seen for a long time. Jesus said, “May they be one, Father, as you and I are one…may they be brought to complete unity so that the world may believe.” This is our prayer, that we will be brought to that complete unity as we meet monthly to worship God, hear the Word of Christ, and rejoice in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. May we be one as they are one. Come and join us as we share our faith in Christ, that we might grow ever deeper in unity and love.
