Thank you Calum

A huge thank you you Calum Davenport, who came and spoke for us last week at the West Devon Filling Station.

Calum Davenport was raised in Bedfordshire and he grew up hoping to be a footballer. With single minded dedication he saw his dream come true; he made it to the Premiership and played for teams including Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham. One particular season was interrupted when he broke his neck but managed a full recovery. However his Premiership career came to an end when he was stabbed and almost died. He and his family moved to Devon 3 years ago and became a Christian and is now part of a team planting a church in Whitleigh, Plymouth.

Another large attendance to hear him speak about his journey to faith and we are grateful of the glimpses he gave us into his world.

There will be a podcast available soon and the full interview will soon be available to view on youtube, watch this space.
