The Rt Rev Sandy Millar, former leader of Holy Trinity Brompton Church, and key influencer in the world-wide Alpha Course, is excited about speaking at the Filling Station network’s Conference on May 18th.  Sandy Millar has gone on record as saying that, ‘The Filling Station model of doing things has the potential to re-evanglise Britain as a Christian country!’  He will be giving the keynote address on that Saturday evening.  The two and half day Conference is booking up fast and over 300 delegates are expected from across the UK and abroad.  The event is taking place at Holy Trinity Church in Leicester (LE1 6XE) and will entail seminars, worship, prayer ministry and main stage teaching sessions.  This is one of the Filling Station’s bi-annual international conferences designed to support the activities of all the 102 Filling Station meetings across the world.  Delegations from Sweden and Bulgaria will be attending and sharing their experiences of running Filling Stations in those countries.  Some 5,500+ people now visit a Filling Station meeting somewhere each month.
