Join us for 24 Hours of Prayer
As the UK expects to open up into Step 3, we want to mobilise our Filling Station community to pray for 24 hours on Monday 17 May 2021.
We are encouraging Filling Stations to sign up for an hour’s slot and to pray for our nation, as people are expected to start to gather from this date, in-line with the Government’s roadmap.
You can sign up for yourself and pray individually, or choose a time slot with your Filling Station Host Team and pray together from your own homes, knowing you will be praying at the same time.
Or – remarkably – perhaps six of you would like to gather INSIDE to pray during that hour (as 17 May marks the date six people can gather inside)!
Or, perhaps your whole Filling Station meeting would like to join in pray online, either choosing a time that suits them, or a suggested time for the whole meeting.
How to sign up
We are hosting a virtual prayer room via 24/7’s website, and you can sign up here.
There will be slots available from 6am, Monday 17 – 6am Tuesday 18 May 2021
Say you’ll be coming on our Facebook Event page! Or share the event to your Filling Station page.
Resources to help you Pray
A few days beforehand, we will email a PDF of suggestions of what you could pray for during your hour, for the Filling Station ministry and our Filling Station network.

Thy Kingdom Come
Our Day of Prayer will be in the middle of the Thy Kingdom Come initiative, first started in 2016 by the Archbishop of Canterbury. They also have some great prayer resources on their website. Watch the trailer on YouTube here.
