“Prayer Shot” – October summary
On Tuesday 4 October, a small group of Staff Team, Filling Station Hosts and guests, gathered to pray online, led by Jo and Laura.
Here’s our summary of this prayer meeting.
Scriptures
- Psalm 34:1-7:
I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me;
let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.
Prophetic words:
- Battery charger: plug into the source, the correct one. Don’t plug into hype & noise, plug into me. We pray for a re-charging of the batteries. We pray against distraction that we might hear the word of the Lord
- Crop rotation: moving onto the next section
- Diamond (us) on mountain (Path) – pressure forming almost reached summit, pause, reflect, assess progress, enjoy view before next ascent
- Old Radio Antena – that we might take the time to gently tune (subtle changes pointing right direction) our antennas to God, that the signal might be clear, that we may truly hear and transmit His message
Praying for our Conference
- Praying for a Commissioning spirit upon the meeting: it would mark out the next stage of life for a number of folk.
- 2 Kings 6: Elisha prayed that his servant would see, but that the enemy would be blinded. There is nothing to fear!
- Armies of God – We want to see what God is doing, and not what He is NOT doing… We will know that we’re on the winning team.
- Bring people along who haven’t yet booked!
Filling Station meetings
- An increase in energy levels – people would be stirred to move
- Multiplication across meetings, like a bullet in a gun that then pulls back – where one or two catch the vision and it springs out to have a greater reach
- Pray for the fetchers and the carriers. The welcome, the setting up and packing down. Those that do the work. Release more people Lord!
- More healings and deliverance across the network
