“Prayer Shot” – December summary
On Tuesday 6th December, a small group of Staff Team, Filling Station Hosts and guests, gathered to pray online, led by Richard, Brian and Simon.
Scriptures
- Ephesians 1:16 – “I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.”
- Isaiah 40:26 – “Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one
and calls forth each of them by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.”
Prayers
- Praying for Scandinavia and new meetings there:
- Praying for meetings that have already started, like Holmefjord in the West.
- Praying for two more starting in New Year: Kristiansand in South, Jaren in middle, North of Oslo.
- Praying for the Lord to stir up people and the church in unity. And for Filling Stations to pop up in places we’ve never heard of!
- The church in Scandinavia – a fast tracking and moving out of the queue and into the next lane. Praying that people would be fast-tracked into an experience of the Holy Spirit.
2. Prospective FS meetings considering starting:
- March in Cambridgeshire
- East Lancashire
- One near Glasgow
- Central Worcestershire – Kempsey village, near Worcester
- Pray for the new teams: they would gel together, and they’d catch a vision of what the Lord wants to do in their area and for wisdom.
- Pray for existing teams: Pray that God would be strengthening them and for His hedge of protection.
- We believe God’s Spirit is wanting to uncap holy wells: pray that meetings would be a well of refreshment.
- Pray that people who are dry and isolated would come back to their first love. Pray that peoples’ faith can be re-birthed. We pray that God would mend the broken hearts of those who come to The Filling Station.
- Pray that God’s church would be in unity and reach out for the gospel.
- Pray that Filling Stations would spring up across the world. We pray that God would open the door to new nations (including Eastern Europe), and for strategy.
- Pray for America, that God would pour out His Spirit there, and that He would release His heart and strategy.
3. All Christmas meeting activities – evangelism etc. specifically outreach:
- Heart of England / South Lakes / Ashburnham / Stanford in the Vale.
- Others: West Devon / Central London Mid Sussex / Appleby / Wensleydale / West Weald / Ashburnham / Box / Cheshire
