“Prayer Shot” – June summary
On Tuesday 6th June, a small group of Staff Team, Filling Station Hosts and guests, gathered to pray online, led by Simon & James. Here are some of the things that were prayed for!
Scriptures
- Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
- 1 Samuel 2:2 “There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one beside you; there is no rock like our God.”
- Revelation 2:1 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.”
- 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
- Exodus 14:14 “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
- Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
- Psalm 27:4 “One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
Giving thanks
- Thank you Lord for the pouring out of your Holy Spirit
- Thank you that your resources are limitless and boundless
- Thank you that you are our guide and our protector as we step out. We ask for grace to have boldness and faith that you are a good father
Requests
- Power and presence of the Holy Spirit to break out in our meetings
- Boldness to go out and reach others
- The prophetic to be stirred up, for healings and deliverance
- Expectations to be raised
- For dreams and visions
- Forgiveness when we operate outside of the Holy Spirit – let us only move when you prompt us
- All our meetings globally to have a new Godly boldness
- Protection from enemy attack
- Prayer for new meetings in UK and Scandinavia
- Prayer Conference preparations
- Refuel!
- For new Filling Stations to rise up across the country
- For the Lord to break any sense of isolation, particularly in rural areas
Vision
- New vision for all the staff team
- For all our meetings to see your vision for them individually. For them to be an oasis of Holy Spirit fire in their community
- We proclaim holiness across the Filling Station. No to lukewarmness!
Testimonies
- Wildfires festival – not enough people to pray during ministry so those around them had to step out and pray for those around them. People were healed and set free!
Prophetic Words
- A picture of a dry land, reflecting our weather at the moment. Our Filling Stations are to be the opposite. They will be soaked with God’s presence and new life will come forth.
- Filling Stations are to be wells of his presence (Genesis 26:18-26).
- ‘Waiting Here for You’ song – there is no fast track to my presence.
- Lampstands from Revelation 2:1, representing his anointing or possibly the tangible presence of Jesus walking among the Filling Station meetings.
- A sense that God wants to draw us into trust by stepping out of our comfort zones.
- We seek your face not your hand.
- Not being busy and trying to fast track.
- The word ‘stand’ – we are not to budge or give away ground but to stand.
- A picture of us sitting before a Holy God with him ‘hoovering’ our dusty places.
- A sense that we are to stand still as the battle is his (Exodus 14:14 and Psalm 46:10).

Genesis 26:18-26 “And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them. Also, Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and found a well of running water there. But the herdsmen of Gerar quarrelled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek, because they quarrelled with him. Then they dug another well, and they quarrelled over that one also. So he called its name Sitnah. And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Then he went up from there to Beersheba. And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.” So he built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord, and he pitched his tent there; and there Isaac’s servants dug a well. Then Abimelech came to him from Gerar with Ahuzzath, one of his friends, and Phichol the commander of his army.
