What a successful evening! Despite the main speaker, Richard, getting caught up in Cumbria’s unexpected snow.
One of the team shared, “Within a few hours of Richard’s email we had secured a speaker. The Spirit was with her from the beginning and she delivered the ideal talk. This was based around the main pillars of Christian Faith in a simple and easy to understand, practical and individually relevant way to those present.
We had over 65 people present which is a good number more than usual, despite the terrible weather last night, plus our own team of 15. We also did give the evening a special and Christmas feel with mulled wine and lots of other Christmas nibbles.”
