The Filling Station team ministering in South Africa
Update from Richard Fothergill:
“Jo, myself and 7 of the Filling Station staff team would ask if you could be praying for us this week as we do a mission in Cape Town South Africa. The team are paying their own way to be here. The team fly out in the next few days.
Laura (& Inger from Mid Sussex Filling Station) are going 200 miles down the coast to a place called Knysna, where a young new minister wants them to bring the Spirit. And possibly start a permanent Filling Station meeting.
Then from Friday 23rd night – Wednesday 28th, we have various meetings & a service in my old church here in Cape Town – Church of the Holy Spirit. The Sunday service is at 9am on 25th, ‘pop-up’ Filling Station on Sunday at 6pm. Prophetic appointments for 29 people/couples or groups on Sat afternoon. We’re also doing an Evangelistic Shabbat dinner on Friday night, led by our daughter.
We’ll be praying for church leaders over whole period.”
And of course, they’ll be visiting our Filling Station in Vaalwater! Here’s a photo of Jo making the most of regular sea swims!
Laura has already been ministering out there this week, leading the first Lenten Reflection at St George’s Anglican Church Knysna (200 miles up the coast from Cape Town).
