Our Healing God
At the Filling Station last month as speaker for the evening I spoke about a number of healings I have seen our Lord work over the last years, encouraging those present to claim any relevant healings for themselves. As testimony increases our expectation/faith levels to receive, the Holy Spirit continued to work wonders. One member stood to say how when she heard about the Lord healing two people with badly damaged hands and wrists after car accidents, she received the healing He had paid for us in full on the cross into her own hand. She then showed us all how she suddenly had full use of her hand and could clench and release all her fingers easily and without pain which wasn’t the case just minutes before. She hadn’t been able to play her guitar for Jesus for the last year or so because of this condition. Praise King Jesus that she now can! Testimony so often opens the way for the Lord to do the same again in the listener. Jesus told the man in Gadara whom He had set free from so much to simply “Go home and tell what the Lord has done for you”. Testimony is so powerful, so do share your testimonies with others to encourage their faith. As people gathered to pray for each other around their tables at the end, God’s manifest Presence continued to bless people at their points of need.
At our next Filling Station on Friday 25th October in Glasbury Village Hall at 7pm Rhys Roberts, our popular speaker from Aberbargoed will share with us what the Lord has placed on his heart for us. This will be after we and our friends and neighbours (do invite them) meet up around coffee and cakes before continuing into a time of worship. There will be opportunities to receive prayer towards the end of the evening.
