Sat 5th Oct Meeting
York Filling Station held its first meeting at the new venue, New Earswick Folk Hall in York, on Saturday the 5th October. The day was sunny, with the inviting aroma of coffee filling the air and delicious cake for all to enjoy. Many attendees came, including families with young children, who made use of the children’s corner. There was a palpable sense of excitement. Though the worship leader Rob Parker experienced his car breakdown on the way to us, quick action was taken to collect him, and the service continued smoothly. Andy Hall, the guest speaker, inspired the congregation with a powerful message, reminding them of their authority in Christ to heal, cleanse, and deliver. Following the service, a prayer ministry was offered, with about five or six people coming forward for prayer. The atmosphere was joyful, and it was heartening to witness lives being touched and healed. The dedication of the volunteers was evident, making the meeting a true blessing for all involved.
