Supernatural healing of a cruciate ligament

“Standing outside the main doors of York Hospital with a friend, I felt nervous. It was only the second time I had done anything ‘on the street’, sharing the Gospel, with anyone willing to chat to us. I stood outside offering Gospel tracts.

The main door opened and a man in a wheelchair was pushed out by his son. The father had just had a toe amputated as he was diabetic. We witnessed to the father and he allowed us to pray for him, as his foot was completely bandaged up.

To my great surprise his son suddenly said to us:

“Will you pray for me as I have snapped my cruciate ligament and I am waiting for surgery for them to re-attach it.”

He also told us that he was unable to do any sport – which was really hard for him, as he was a keen footballer.

I suddenly had a rush of blood – or probably a rush of the Holy Spirit! – and told him that I would love to pray for him.

So I put my hands round his knee and prayed for the ligament to re-attach. I prayed for complete healing in the name of Jesus.

To my great surprise and delight, he picked his leg up and bent it right back which you can’t do with a ripped cruciate ligament. He started exclaiming with great joy that he was healed and going back to church! (He was a lapsed Catholic).

Jesus had completely healed his knee in two minutes. Hallelujah!!!!

As you can imagine, I have never forgotten that day. Since, then, I have been going out ‘onto the streets’ for the last ten years.

I have seen several more healings, including two homeless men who were healed of fractured wrists on two separate occasions.

In the last two years I have started singing in public, or on the streets after realising that if there is worship music and singing, it softens people’s hearts. We have seen many more people come to Christ as a result. To God be the glory!”
