Prophetic words at New Wine 2025
A couple of us from the staff team led prophetic prayer appointments over five days of the New Wine Festival.
We shared and prayer with 119 people who are all in church leadership over that time. We all left feeling hugely encouraged!
Some highlights:
- Sharing “you’ve been climbing in the Wainwrights but God wants to take you higher….” They had climbed the Wainwright walks in the Lake District the week before.
- A strong sense to prompt someone to pray in one specific room at their church. Prior to this leader coming to work at the church, there had been occult practises (Ouija boards) done in that exact physical space.
- One of the team shared phrases from a specific Psalm that had been that person’s exact life-long passage and prayer during difficult times. Receiving specific scriptures like this with that level of life impact happened multiple times
- The Lord showed us that the person was somebody God would use to set records and be in the Guinness book of world records, turns out she had and she was in the Guinness Book of Records already!
- A picture seen of a couple using a shredder…God was moving them on from their roles after 20 years and they had just spent a lot of time during this summer shredding!
- A sense for one person they were being described as Bishop-like – it transcribed they were actually a Bishop unbeknown to the team!
- Sudden highlighted moment for specific physical healing which we prayed into. One way of knowing this was the case one team member getting sudden / supernaturally hot arms each time!
We can be assured of God’s deep compassion for those He knows and loves.
We were encouraged that He uses our gifts to reveal who His is to speak His words of life hope and reassurance in to the lives of others.
We can be encouraged that Jesus knows us loves us, sees us and has a plan for our lives. We pray that we will all know more of Him today.
