April Meeting
Our speaker this month was Mike Tate. He is based in the Lizard in Cornwall where he and his wife run a holiday centre, but Mike also now works for the Filling Station based in the West Country. His talk was based on Matthew chapter 14 verses 22-33 which focuses on Jesus’ walk on water and how we must be prepared to step out in faith and obedience and to keep our eyes focussed on Jesus. We also heard how we must turn to God for wisdom and direction and how He will help us to do just what He wants us to do. We have God’s grace, love and peace from Him and God also will help us when we face difficulties and give us hope in all we need to serve Him better.
