Hennie was born in Holland, is 73 yrs old with 4 children and 8 grandchildren.  At the European Bible Institute in Lamorlaye, France, she was called to be a missionary to Laos, with the Christian & Missionary Alliance, where she met husband Frank.  After the communists took control of Laos, they needed to leave in 1975.  Having spent 7 years in the United States they then worked with SE Asian refugees who had escaped and joined the Far East Broadcasting Company Mission.  In 1982 they were sent to the Philippines with FEBC and lived there for 9 months.  Hennie came back to UK in 1991 where some years later she was called to become a Methodist Local Preacher.
