Thursday, March 27th
Following is a short review of our March 27th meeting, kindly written by one of our attendees.
We gathered on 27th March and, following a time of sung worship, joyfully led by Chris And Von, we were pleased to welcome Rev. Saul Tadzaushe, a Methodist minister in East Suffolk.
Saul spoke with passion on the theme of “Transcending Boundaries for Christ”. We all stood, arms linked together, and sang “Bind us together Lord”.
Saul focussed on a few of Paul’s words to Timothy which encouraged him to remember his faith heritage and God’s gift of the Holy Spirit, a spirit of power, love and self-discipline (2 Tim.1:3-7). So the message – we can transcend boundaries for Christ, not in our own strength but by the Holy Spirit, the gift given by Christ. Saul suggested we might pray for someone that they are indeed encouraged to know this and act on it.
For many it was a special message of hope and encouragement.
