He Rejoices With Us – A Reflection from Our Launch Event

At our recent launch event on the 26th, we were blessed to hear from Hellie, who shared a message that truly anchored us in the heart of God. Amongst a few other things, she spoke about three powerful parables Jesus told: the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the son who returns home after spending everything he had.

Each of these stories carries the same beautiful thread—something is lost, something is sought after, and something is joyfully found. But what stood out most in Hellie’s message was the emphasis on God’s response. When the sheep is found, when the coin is recovered, when the son returns home, there isn’t just relief—there’s rejoicing. Celebration. Overflowing joy.

These parables reveal so much about the nature of our God. He doesn’t just wait passively for us to sort ourselves out. He searches, He calls, He runs toward us. And when we respond—no matter how far we’ve gone or how long we’ve been away—He welcomes us in and rejoices with us.

It’s easy to imagine God as distant or disappointed, but these stories remind us that His heart is tender, invested, and full of delight when we turn toward Him. He’s not keeping score—He’s preparing a celebration.

We’re so grateful to Hellie for reminding us that the Father’s joy is not reserved for the perfect, but for the returned. For the found. For those who say, “I want to come home.”

And what a home it is.
