Martin Cavendar
We are so thankful for the life of Martin Cavendar who died at the end of July peacefully, full of faith and surrounded by his family. He was a wonderful help to The Filling Station, particularly in the early years. He travelled tirelessly speaking at meetings all across the country – indeed one year he spoke at 14 different Filling Stations! Martin was a great teacher and encourager and will be much missed by many involved in The Filling Station.
A memorial service giving thanks for Martin’s life and ministry will be held in Wells Cathedral on Saturday October 31st at 1pm – everybody is welcome. Free parking is available in the fields off Silver Street (BA5 1UN) for those coming in cars. Please do pass the invitation on to others who knew Martin and who you think might like to come
