We are excited to welcome Andrew Chapman to speak for us this month. Andrew visited us for the first time last year, and I think I attempted to describe him as one of the most “down to earth” prophetic people I’ve been with. Andrew helps people connect with God the Father in deep and intimate ways, experiencing his affection in every day life. He has many stories of God’s power at work through people being healed and transformed, and works with individuals and pastors alike to empower them to serve. What is FillingStation@home?

Our initial vision for FillingStation@home was to serve and resource small groups across the country.

However the majority of people who have been part of @home over the last year have done so as individuals or couples.

It also became clear that the technology for really good live worship is still not here. High quality live music requires more bandwidth than Zoom seems to be able to deliver!

Rather than pressing on with the original vision regardless, we decided to embrace what @home has become. To make @home more sustainable for 2024 we have moved from bi-monthly to monthly, with curated pre-recorded worship and without the watch again facility.

The June 2025 gathering of Wirral Filling Station will take place at Hope Church, Station road, Hoylake, CH47 4AA on Thursday 19th June 2025. Parking is as usual around the church. Folk will be on hand to direct you. 

Refreshments, which include the famous cake offering, are available from 7;10pm. We start promptly at 7:30pm.

As ever there will be opportunity for prayer ministry and response to prophetic words from the prayer meeting and whatever the Lord is saying during our gathering.

Hellie supports and encourages Filling Stations in the Midlands & Wales. She is a prophetic Bible teacher, supporting our network with leadership development and training for prophecy and prayer, which includes our ‘Equip & Empower’ online training. Based in Cheltenham, she is a recognised Prophet internationally, having worked with prophetic councils in the nation and across Europe. Alongside this she has a heart to equip and support leaders in their roles (paid and voluntary) for a variety of churches. Alongside Simon, (Filling Station’s Regional Consultant for the South West), Hellie hosts ‘Clear Vision’, a yearly prophetic conference to envision and equip the body of Christ.  Since 2024, this has been running in January, in Cheltenham. Hellie is also Young Adults Pastor at Trinity Church, Cheltenham.  Hellie is married to Mike, and has four teenage & adult step-children.

Our talk this month is by Ali Laithwaite a fairly recently “retyred” local teacher of 37 years service, who continues to run after school Christian clubs . The theme of Ali’s talk is “The Abundance of God and the Power of Blessing.”
Ali believes that there is so much more that God has for us, than we already experience and that “blessing” is one of those significant areas, but the key to everything is our intimacy with Christ.
Ali’s heart’s desire is to learn to constantly walk and live in God’s presence and she is passionate to see God’s kingdom advance both in our local area and across the world.
Ali lives and worships locally. She believes that the time we live in right now is critical, and that each one of us, across the churches and across the generations, is born for such a time as this; that God is longing for His Church to arise and step into the fullness of all He is and longs to do in this world through His people.

Akhtar Shah

Akhtar, together with his wife Marta, helps lead the Foundry, a family of Christians, micro-churches and ministries based in London and beyond. He is a part of the Kingdom Embassy and the founder of Dreams Lab helping people to find their way into business ownership and social transformation. Over the past 20 plus years Akhtar has seen the Lord save and transform so many friends and family members. He works to help people hear His voice and discover their God-given purpose. He lives to follow Jesus, to love those around him and to see His Kingdom come.

Les and Ruth Nuttall are on the leadership team at Lifespring Church Bootle.

As a couple, they have a heart to see every believer reach their full potential. Since 1980, they have had the joy of ministering healing and deliverance and seeing the captives set free.

They are parents to 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren.

Jules Jones, a beautiful worship leader in her own right,  regularly plays alongside Cath Woolridge in Sound of Wales. She will not only be our speaker but also lead our worship from her keyboard.  Jules’s love for Jesus is obvious in her gentle way.  You can hear her on YouTube videos.  Do bring along your friends, family and neighbours to experience His Presence in a relaxed atmosphere, starting at 7pm with coffee and cakes in Glasbury Village Hall on Friday 27th June.  An evening not to be missed.
