Terl is an artist, drummer and speaker. Voice of Drums has been inspiring change through rhythm, music, storytelling, and education since 1996. With performances, workshops, and creative collaborations across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the USA, this non-profit initiative engages individuals and communities through powerful, participatory experiences – rooted in work with Christian faith communities.

Join us for our September meeting

Philip Ireson was Vicar of two rural groups of parishes in Sheffield Diocese before becoming Senior Chaplain at HMP Doncaster. He then moved on to be a Vicar of an inner-city church in Sheffield before retiring. He has close links with South Sudanese refugees in north Uganda and has helped to develop a prison project in Malawi for young offenders. He continues to support prisoners and ex-prisoners. He is married to Frances and they have three grown up children. Philip is passionate about helping fellow believers to remember who they are in Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Back from the Summer break – we’re joined by Sarah Tyrwhitt-Drake from HTB, who has also co-ordinated many of the prophetic appointments at Filling Station conferences over the years, including helping us discern what God is saying for our particular Filling Station. Join us in September for our Filling Station meeting! We are back after the summer with speaker, Ben McDermott and worship from Jeremy Bontemps.

Ben is an evangelist, an Admiralty Pilot working in Portsmouth dockyard. Also an unlimited Master Mariner. He Enjoys learning and passing on the revelation he receives. Currently enjoying growing more in the prophetic ministry.

Jeremy is a worship leader from Crawley with roots in a Mauritian church where his parents serve and lead.

Come along from 7pm for a 7:30pm start!

The September 2025 gathering of Wirral Filling Station will take place at Hope Church, Station road, Hoylake, CH47 4AA on Thursday 18th September 2025. Parking is as usual around the church. Folk will be on hand to direct you. 

Refreshments, which include the famous cake offering, are available from 7;10pm. We start promptly at 7:30pm.

Please be much in prayer for an open heaven and for all who are contributing on Thursday week. We are seeking to keep our gatherings seeker-friendly and to include an opportunity for people to respond to the gospel; so consider inviting friends. As ever there will be opportunity for prayer ministry and response to prophetic words from the prayer meeting and whatever the Lord is saying during our gathering.

We resume our Filling Station gatherings, after our summer break, on Friday 26th September in Glasbury Village Hall, 7 – 9pm, when our speaker will be Bishop John, Bishop of  Brecon and Swansea.  He brought us a great, inspiring message last time he came so we look forward to what the Lord has layed on his heart for us for us at the start of the new season.  This is a good time to invite friends and family along to enjoy Jesus with us, along with coffee and cakes as we start the evening in a relaxed manner getting to know each other better.  We will then move into a time of worship before Bishop John takes the floor.  There will be opportunities to receive prayer for those who would like.
