Fran is a missionary and trauma counsellor and you may remember her incredible testimony that she gave in our March meeting. She definitely left most people with the feeling that we wanted to hear more. Well, now’s your chance, as Fran will be our guest speaker at our next meeting on Thursday 25th May. The title of her talk will be “Anointed with Fresh Oil”

Trained as a nurse at the UCH hospital in London, Fran went on to work with YWAM in Hong Kong in the refugee camps. She was then seconded to live in the camp at Kai Tak and met up with Jackie Pullinger.  Following this, Fran then moved to live with Jackie in Hang Fook Camp and helped with the addicts coming off heroin. With Jackie’s help, she set up a house for the Vietnamese.

Fran then moved to Australia and worked with the refugees settling there. Following her marriage and raising a family of three sons, Fran and her husband returned to the refugee camp, where they worked for a further 2-year period. Here, she witnessed many who were healed and saved.

Following a period in Queensland, Fran returned to UK to look after her aged father for the next five years. Sadly, he died in 2021 and Fran moved to Suffolk in 2022. Now Fran is asking Jesus what he has planned for her here, apart from counselling!”.
