February Meeting
Nigel Rawlinson, who is Chaplain at Bath University, was the speaker at our February meeting. The theme was faith and renewing and it wonderful to be reminded that we must proclaim the faith we have, encourage one another and read God’s Word. We also heard from John’s gospel chapter 10 – with the focus on Jesus as “the good shepherd” who will enable us to develop our faith. We must also be refilled, overflowing with the power of the Holy Spirit – and we also have three “foundation stones” to help us: unity, compassion and the power of prayer.
Our next meeting is on Friday March 9th at Ridgway Hall and the speaker is Rev Matthew Street, who is in charge of several churches and based at Peasedown St John.
