Suffolk Coastal October Meeting – Robin Alderson
This month Suffolk Coastal Filling Station welcomed our own Robin Alderson. Robin has lived in Suffolk for most of his life. He served in the Army for 23 years and was a Civil Servant for 16 years, and was ordained as minister in the Church of England when he reached the age of 60. He continues to take services each month in the Orford group of parishes. Robin and D have lived in Snape since 1985. They have a daughter and a son (in that order), and enjoy being surrounded (during school holidays) by five grandsons. The Alderson family won the Herbert Tibbenham Cup in the Aldeburgh Carnival in 2013 and 2015 and were runners up in 2014 and 2018.
Robin and D have been members of the Suffolk Coastal Filling Station team since its inaugural meeting in April 2014. In his talk, Robin responded to the Question “Which kingdom do you live in?”
