Christmas Carols evening – thanks for coming!
How wonderful to see so many new faces last night at South Lakes Filling Station!
Thank you to our regulars who came and supported: doing a reading, sharing a story, bringing mince pies, or bringing a friend.
It was good to know there were people who’d never been to a Filling Station meeting before and didn’t go to a church, or would profess to having a faith.
Five stories were shared about how Jesus had impacted their lives. Three of gospel readings from Luke around the Christmas story.
An amazing band who sung so beautifully, with everyone really singing out the carols.
Tables decorated and the room feeling Christmassy… And lots of delicious warm apple brew and mulled wine on offer and homemade nibbles.
Our team had been working hard to pull the evening off. We really do believe that seeds have been sown through last night. And believing that the Lord waters those seeds!
