‘The Gift’ 2024
The Filling Station 2024 Christmas Campaign known as “The Gift” was a great success! We held fourteen in person invitational meetings across the United Kingdom with evangelistic speakers sharing the good news of the gospel with an opportunity for a response. Our Evangelism Consultant, Laura Brett, launched the campaign in our Suffolk Coastal meeting where two people made a commitment following the talk. We then held meetings in Black Mountains, Bo’ness, Forres, Cheshire, Harrogate, Ashburnham, West Weald, Moray, Elgin, South Yorkshire, Mid Sussex, West Lancashire and Vale of York.
Some meetings opted for simple carols and mince pies, whilst others engaged in street evangelism or showed a J.John film to an expectant audience. People that were backslidden in their faith came back to the Lord whilst others entered into a relationship with Jesus for the very first time. Hallelujah!
Harrogate wrote on their social media pages “And it’s a wrap! Harrogate Filling Station ‘The Gift’ event was glorious! A big thank you to Allen Langham who shared his awesome testimony of how he came to faith in Jesus Christ – a life totally transformed by the power of the Living God – entitled “The Gift and The Misfit”. A reminder that we are all ‘enough’ for God!”
Scotland had lots of fun, with meetings in Bo’ness, Forres and Elgin.
Our Regional Director Craig Mackay writes “THANK YOU for helping us end the year with the celebration of the Miracle of Christmas at THE GIFT last night. A huge hug to Alan McWilliam for a perfect Christmas message and revelation about the angelic realm – so good!”.
South Yorkshire held a jubilant Carol Service on the 22nd December and Vale of York shared that “The Gift went well and people were blessed to hear about the real reason for the season. We had a full room, everyone came up for prayer, some for longer sessions, and the atmosphere was great! We are glad that we did it”.
Cheshire had a wonderful evening together hearing from Craig Bennett about the gifts of the 3 wise men; and the prophetic significance of these gifts pointing to Jesus the King, Priest and redeeming Messiah. Jesus God’s precious gift to us!
On the evening of Wednesday 19th December we also held our Christmas Filling Station @ Home with Evangelist Scott McNamara from King’s Army and Founder of ‘Jesus at the Door’.
We will soon be planning for The Gift 2025 and we would love even more meetings to be involved for more impact and a greater outpouring!
