A refreshing start to the year.
There was a buzz of expectancy among those who gathered for our first meeting of 2025 and the Holy Spirit met that. The physical food was delicious and plentiful and so was the spiritual food.
We entered into worship led by Mark and Theo. Then Julie presented a video of what the Lord had shown her concerning the South Lakes Filling Station (SLFS) in the coming year. She portrayed different coloured scarves coming together, which represented the different strands of church from which those who attend SLFS come. Each brings their own outlook and aspect but all work together to bring about the kingdom of God in the area.

This was followed by an excellent talk by Brian. He encouraged us from Colossians to clothe ourselves in love which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
After this people shared stories of encouragement.
There was a freshness in the air and great anticipation for our next meeting on 20 March when our speaker will be Rev Madi Simpson from Ulverston.
