Brendan, a London native and former journalist, came to faith while covering Zimbabwe’s independence in 1980. He dedicated five years to pastoring and planting churches in South Africa before returning to London, where he spent the next 34 years leading The Gospel Centre in Haringey. A key figure in establishing the Pray Haringey unity movement, Brendan also launched several community-focused initiatives that brought together churches across the area.

Now retired and living in Buckingham with his wife, Marianne, Brendan has two daughters and three grandchildren. He continues to preach and minister throughout the UK, with a special focus on preparing the Bride for the return of the Groom.
