We are having an evening of extended worship and testimony, during which we hope to share our vision for West Oxfordshire Filling Station and listen to what you might have heard.

Dear Alex, also known as Zangi, is coming to lead worship – it will be a special time.

For those of you that haven’t had the joy of worshiping with Alex, here is some information about this gifted and generous man of God:

He was born and raised in Nairobi Kenya. His love for Jesus led to him developing into a passionate worship leader. He has since moved to UK, where he lives with his wife Laura and daughter.

Leading worship has taken Zangi’s  around the UK and also to the USA. In recent years, he has won several awards for his songs. His music and songs can be found on all the major streams such as Spotify.

We really hope you can join us.

We are looking forward to hearing from our speaker Paul Golf.

Paul Golf – Teaching and Ministry

Paul has been in church-based/itinerant ministry for nearly 20 years, majoring on subjects including prophetic ministry, missions (especially China), and gospel teaching. Together with his wife Grace, they are based at Hope Chapel Fellowship in Bristol.

As well as leading local and international missions teams, preaching & teaching, and equipping the saints, they also play an advisory role for the leadership teams of a number of different churches.

Kate Kernaghan – Worship leader

Kate has worked for the local as a community pioneer, helped found and leads a local charity and is regularly in local primary schools leading open-the-book assemblies and mentoring students at secondary school. Kate is married to Peter and has four grown-up children and is a member of Freedom Church Kingswood.

Kate regularly leads worship with openness to leading of the Holy Spirit.

West Lothian Filling Station is back on Monday, January 27th at 7:30 pm, taking place at The Open Door, 28 E Main St, Uphall, Broxburn, EH52 5HY.

This month, we are excited to welcome Andy Merrick from Hope Church, Glasgow as our guest speaker.

Andy leads the eldership team at Hope Church and is passionate about helping people encounter the tangible presence of God. He believes that such encounters—marked by healing, deliverance, and God’s presence—are what everyone needs. Over the years, God has used Andy to bring healing and transformation to many lives.

Andy and his wife Theresa have been married for over 40 years and planted their first church in 1982. Since then, they have devoted their lives to planting, teaching, and strengthening churches.

We’d love for you to join us for what promises to be a powerful and uplifting evening.

• Walking in our God given identity and authority as sons and daughters.

This will be a time of breakthrough as well a time where you will be equipped to help others.

Matt Caddick is Pastor of Counterslip Baptist Church in South Bristol.

Although from a non-Christian family, Matt grew up going to Counterslip and was baptised there when he was 14.

In his late teens and early twenties, Matt drifted from church but experienced the transformative grace of Jesus, who continually drew him back.

After years in the bar and nightclub scene, Matt felt called to serve God, becoming a youth worker and, in 2019, stepping into his role as pastor at Counterslip. Passionate about seeing the church thrive as the bride of Christ, Matt’s vision is to inspire deep relationships with Jesus and spread hope to the world.
