The speaker at our September meeting will be Joe Popplewell from Christians Against Poverty (CAP).

Joe writes: “My name is Joe Popplewell, and I’m from the tropical, always sunny Bradford! I’ve worked for CAP for 9 years, covering different roles such as Church Partnership, the Speaker Management Team and I now work in our Philanthropy team, helping to raise funds to help those in need across the UK.

I’ve been a Christian for the majority of my life, making a commitment to Jesus and getting baptised when I was 7. I enjoy watching sport, animal documentaries and I have a strange fascination with regional accents!”

We’ll look forward to welcoming Joe on September 5th!
